Juneteenth Celebration: “History Out Loud with Color” Art Workshop
Be inspired by the sights and sounds of jubilation as you create a paper collage in celebration of Juneteenth.
Participants’ work will be photographed and included in a digital quilt, reminiscent of the beautiful story quilts African American women created to record ancestral history and family memories. These quilts were also often embedded with codes to lead others to freedom along the Underground Railroad. All ages. First floor meeting room
