WOS Sock Hop

Travel back in time for this special fundraising event being hosted by the Westchester Oratorio Society. Join the “almost famous” rock ‘n’ roll band “Da Spallinas” led by WOS president Joe Spallina to honor Patsy McCarthy-Brennan an original member of WOS and a long-time dedicated volunteer.  The event is being held on Saturday March 25 at 7 PM at the Moses Taylor post 136, One American Legion Way, Mount Kisco, NY 10549.

The Moses Taylor American Legion post has been labeled in the Mount Kisco-Chappaqua Patch as “the best place to dance in the Hudson Valley.”  Enjoy the live music, munchies and period décor while helping the noted choral music group which performs oratorios from the 17th and 18th century raise money for its 25th anniversary concert on April 23.

Suggested minimum donation is $35 per person. Tickets are available online, www.westchesteroratorio.org, and at the door. There will also be a cash bar available at the venue with a portion of the proceeds going to WOS. You’re invited to dress like the 1950 and come ready to dance!
