Comedy Improv (5 day spring break camp for students in Grades 4-7)
Comedy improvisation is the art of acting without a script. This workshop is perfect for anyone wanting to show off their silly side and form new friendships along the way. Students will learn the craft of comedy improvisation through playing warm-up and group-building games geared toward honing communication skills, boosting creative problem solving, and gaining confidence in public-speaking. We will host a live performance for friends and families during the last hour on Friday.
We will offer this afternoon session on April 3-8.
Students are encouraged to bring a lunch and register for the morning session of Playing with Plays too! (A $25 refund will be issued back to purchasers of both sessions.)
This session will take place in person at HVWC. Our historic station house is located in Philipse Manor / Sleepy Hollow, NY.
