“The River and Beyond” by Ellen Hopkins Fountain

Our First Featured Artist of the Year is Ellen Hopkins Fountain, Starting March 11th

The exhibit “The River and Beyond” showcases a collection of watercolor paintings of the Hudson River Valley and the New England landscape.  “These paintings begin when light, color and shapes align; I am then faced with the challenge of making an effective visual statement from these elements.  I feel I’m most successful when I convey my delight in the world around me and communicate that same joy to the viewers of my paintings” (Ellen Hopkins Fountain)
