Wellness Art Workshop: Reflections of the Human Heart

Join artist and art therapist Kit Demirdelen for a workshop—designed specifically for families—that explores the healing qualities of art and nature. This in-person event will start in the galleries with a guided conversation about how major artworks in the exhibition Cycles of Nature express emotion. Then, create your own artwork in Greene Education Center. Explore various fine art materials, from oil pastels to watercolor. Finished works of art will be considered for a display of works that explore what it means to reconnect and recover after life-altering events.
