Rye’sAbove Butterfly Benefit & Close of Auction

Rye’sAbove is a public art project and fundraiser led by The Rotary Club of Rye and The Rye Arts Center. The goal is to uplift the community through the arts while supporting educational programs in the region. We’ve invited artists to join us in building a cocoon of beauty and creativity that can be the catalyst for metamorphosis in our community.

Rye’sAbove will feature large and medium-sized aluminum butterflies, as well as small steel butterflies. Participating artists will transform blank, aluminum alloy (the medium and large) or steel (the small) sculptures into original works of art. The butterflies will be displayed throughout the summer in the Rye, NY area and will be available for purchase at an auction on September 29.

Net proceeds from the auction and sponsorships will be utilized for educational programs and scholarships for students in our area.
