The Artist Is at Hand: Demo with Mason Webb

Mason Webb’s Instrument No. 2, featured in Order / Reorder, is a kinetic, sculptural still life that merges textile and sound to produce a visual and auditory experience. It was originally built as an interactive instrument for children in his hometown of Atlanta. The artist will activate the artwork in the galleries on the second Saturday of each month from September through February. Over the course of two hours, Webb will perform his piece in the galleries, discuss his practice, and allow visitors to interact directly with the instrument.
