Solo Show: “Great Cities of the World”

“Great Cities of the World” is a solo show by award-winning artist Don Sexton consisting of more than 50 paintings that capture the spirits of cities where he has lived or worked, including Paris, New York, Shanghai, Tokyo, Hyderabad, Venice, Moscow, Sydney, others.  Many of his paintings are based on a unique technique he developed involving oil pastels and inks which produce incredibly vivid colors.  Guest comments:  “Wonderful energies”  “Vibrant”  “Terrific colors”  “Witty”  “Lovely lines”  “Fun”  Note:  Library is one block west of NYC City Hall in lower Manhattan.  Library closes at 5 on Fri and Sat and is closed on Sun.  RECEPTION/ARTIST TALK  June 16 5-7 pm.  Hope you can see the show!  Enjoy.
