A Free Reading of Andromache – June 12

YCP TheaterWorks will be presenting a staged reading, free of charge, of Jean Racine’s tragedy, Andromache, on June 12 at 2:00 pm at the Hendrick Hudson Library, 185 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose, NY 10548. A year after the Trojan war, Andromache, Hector’s widow, and her son are prisoners in Greece where Pyrrhus has been professing his love for her. Andromache despises him. But when Greece condemns her son to death, Pyrrhus’ love for her is the only thing that could save him.
