Apricity – Every winter has its spring

An uncommon word to describe a familiarly beautiful concept, “apricity” describes the warmth of the winter sun. In celebration of late winter and in anticipation of spring, curator Rita Baunok of Chroma Fine Art Gallery has gathered work from sixteen artists in her roster to capture this sentiment of luminosity. The exhibition features sculptures by June Ahrens, Jacqueline Lorieo, Joshua|2 and Robert Spinazzola; photographs by Rita Baunok, Patrick J. Cicalo, Bruce Dunbar, Arnold Kastenbaum and Ruth Raskin; paintings by Vanessa Pineda Fox, Inness Hancock, Alissa Leigh, Michael Summers and Sofie Swann; drawings by Suzanne Montresor; and mixed media works by Mitchell Visoky.
