The Emelin Theatre has launched the Rise & Shine Campaign to prepare for and celebrate its reopening scheduled for early October. “This Virtual Celebration is our way to share our excitement, and show our gratitude to everyone who helped make our reopening possible: our patrons, donors, members, sponsors, artists and the entire community,” said Elliot Fox, Emelin’s Executive Director.

Hosted by legendary DJ of WFUV and SiriusXM radio Dennis Elsas, this one-hour virtual event features Israeli superstar David Broza, the incomparable Latinx ensemble Flor de Toloache, the entrancing Ballet Hispánico, ‘the Jimi Hendrix of ukulele’ Jake Shimabukuro, folk/rock legend David Bromberg and the abundantly talented singer-songwriter Amy Helm.
