The Rye Arts Center is privileged to present its second exhibition of Nature’s Art II: Geodes from the Collection of Robert R. Wiener. These amazing crystalline forms that are found in rock throughout the world are records of the earth’s geological history and objects of visual delight. Indeed, they are “Nature’s Art.” Artists’ work is exhibited alongside responding to this natural beauty, prismatic color, and aesthetic presence of these extraordinary works. Curated by Dr. Gail Harrison Roman and artist Jill Parry, this exhibit will excite visitors of all ages and will include educational materials and hands-on projects designed to elucidate the inherent relationship of nature and art.
