Adult Workshop: Floral Oil Painting

Floral Oil Painting Workshop
Ages 21 & over
Friday & Saturday, January 24 & 25, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

In this two-day workshop, students will learn to create an “alla prima” oil floral painting from life while studying the beauty of flowers with sensitivity and detail. Using a step-by-step approach, participants will paint either a study of individual flowers or a small bouquet using a direct painting method. Pat will guide each student with in-depth personal critiques through each stage of the process – from creating a strong design with careful drawing, to color mixing, modeling form and finishing details.Flowers and small vases will be supplied for each student (please feel free to bring your own if you want).
