The GOLDEN Artist Colors lecture/demo is a two-hour presentation on acrylic paints, gels and mediums. It covers the different types of paints and pigments, viscosities, grounds and color mixing, with demonstrations of various gels and mediums.

Explore the vast world of GELs, Mediums and Pastes that allow you to extend your paint as much as 70%, create textures and affects, or use them as Grounds to make your art on. Learn about the Mix More Media line of revolutionary Grounds that enable you print on nearly any surface you can feed through your Ink Jet printer. This workshop will also demystify pigments; lightfast; and color mixing. Compare the slow drying OPEN Acrylics with Heavy Body paints. You will learn how to control the drying time, as well as techniques associated with oils, such as wet – into – wet and glazing. Did you know Acrylic products in general and Gels, Mediums and Pastes in particular are great adhesives for collaging? Even acrylic paint is a great adhesive. Included in this free Lectured/Demo is packet of literature and paint.
