Julia Galloway Ceramic Workshop

During this one day workshop Julia Galloway will demonstrate wheel throwing and hand building techniques, developing pottery to convey ideas. With a focus on composition of surface and form, she will use slips and underglaze for decoration and discuss how she has developed the concepts in her work. Julia will address the current handmade pottery culture today, professional practices and influences on her own work and studio practice. Fee: $100

This workshop is in conjunction with the opening of Julia Galloway’s solo show – The Endangered Species Project – opening September 28th, 6 – 8pm.
