Wu Han, piano; Philip Setzer, violin; David Finckel, cello concert

Wu Han and David Finckel are the music directors of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. Philip Setzer is Finckel’s former colleague in the Emerson String Quartet.  Of this trio, The Washington Post has said, “their ensemble is seamless,” while The St. Paul Pioneer Press has observed, “they are almost as much fun to watch as to hear.”  Their program for us will include Rachmaninoff’s Trio Elegiaque, No. 1; Mendelssohn’s Trio in D minor, Op. 49; and Dvorak’s Trio in E minor, Op. 90 (“Dumky”).
