Pacifica String Quartet, with guest artist pianist Orion Weiss concert

The Pacifica’s performances around the world of several string quartet cycles have been called “brilliant,” “astonishing,” “gripping,” and “breathtaking.”  Orion Weiss has been praised for “exceptionally crafted performances that go far beyond his technical mastery.”  Their program will include Beethoven’s String Quartet in F minor, Op. 95, (“Serioso”); Ligeti’s Quartet No. 1, Metamorphoses nocturnes; and Dvorak’s Piano Quintet in A Major, Op. 81.
