Staged Reading of Original Work – Cake and Candles

Cake and Candles – an original screenplay written by Sally Fitz – is a touching and suspenseful story set in Yonkers that blends family drama, police detective work, and personal tragedy.  This staged reading will be the first time Cake and Candles is shared with a public audience.  The reading will be performed by local actors and directed by Armand Paganelli.

Cake and Candles has received recognition as a Second Rounder in the 2018 Austin Film Festival Screenplay competition, and is a finalist in the 2018 Wescreenplay competition.

This event is free and open to the public, but reservations are encouraged via ACT’s website – www.actshows.org.
