Gallery Opening

Join us on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. for the opening reception of LINDA TOUBY: Je T’aime, a solo exhibition of paintings by contemporary New York artist Linda Touby. This is Touby’s 4th solo exhibition with the gallery and will be on view from February 1 – March 16, 2019. The artist will be present.

This exhibition debuts Touby’s latest series of paintings, entitled Je T’aime, “I Love You” in French.   Never before exhibited, these deeply evocative works mark an abrupt shift in Touby’s artistic expression, whose visual vocabulary, primarily grounded in tenets of 20th century abstraction, has continually evolved subtly and continually over a 30+ year career.

These intensely romantic, colorful works were inspired by the artist’s life partner, Basil Gogos, the famous “monster artist” and are the perfect expression of love, just in time for Valentine’s Day, so get in the mood with art at this awesome exhibition!
