Eli Fountain’s Percussion Discussion

In this family-friendly performance, musician Eli Fountain leads the members of the Percussion Discussion, playing a variety of percussive instruments from all over the world and allowing the audience to discover each instrument’s roots and sounds. His all-star ensemble is composed of renowned musicians who maneuver through the instruments and music of the world’s percussion diaspora – xylophones, marimbas, tympani, chimes, drum sets, vibraphones, and other instruments. The ensemble has performed in New York’s top venues and festivals such as Lincoln Center, Symphony Space, Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), Jazzmobile, Boston University, and more.
