EXHIBIT: Leni Levenson Wiener – Park Bench Stories
We are delighted to welcome back Leni Levenson Wiener for another wonderful exhibit of stories – stories that come to life in the artist’s amazing figurative fabric collages. This traveling exhibit is comprised of works that represent people who have come to sit on a park bench at some point during a day, a week, or longer. The people have been removed from their environment, even the bench itself is left to the imagination of the viewer. Viewers will imagine their own stories about each figure. Who are they? Where are they? What are they doing? The answer may not be the same for everyone who sees the exhibition, so each viewer will bring a little bit of their own life experience to the stories the artworks relate tell.
