Rocky Middleton Sextet

Great jazz on a Sunday afternoon! Acoustic bass player Rocky Middleton will lead his ensemble of top-flight musicians. A New Rochelle resident and native of Mount Vernon, Rocky has performed around the world and with well-known musicians such as Frank Foster, Charlie Persip, Alvin Queen, Tommy Turrentine, Walter Perkins, Norman Simmons, Bucky Pizzarelli and many more. He was self-taught before he began to hone his skills, studying at the Jazz Mobile workshop in Harlem, and with greats such as Richard Davis, Lyle Atkinson, Jimmy Heath, Clifford Jordan, and Norman Simmons.
