Purchase Symphony Orchestra presents Concerto Competition Winners

The talent of our Conservatory of Music students will be on display this evening. Featuring the winners of the 2017-2018 Concerto Competition, these concertos convey classical sweetness (Spohr), and funky, modern excitement (Jenkins). The concert opens with the Preludes (Act I and III) from Lohengrin – old-school orchestral music that resonates with its fervor and virtuosity.
