A Night of Borders & Boundaries

Chamber music that explore the boundaries of music in the 20^th century through Schoenberg’s  Verklärte Nacht, Op. 4  and Richard Strauss’ String Quintet from Capriccio Op. 85 is a work composed in 1942 when he and his wife forced escape to Vienna in reaction to the Nazi leadership in his home of Germany.
