Dover Quartet concert

We welcome the return of the excellent young Dover Quartet, lauded by The New Yorker as both “exciting and accomplished.”  The Wall Street Journal has described their playing as “masterly, nuanced” with “gutsy and earthy sound,” while the Santa Fe New Mexican had said that to hear them is to be in “string quartet nirvana.” Their program for us will included Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s String Quartet No. 3 in E-flat nor, Op. 30; Mason Bates’s From Amber Frozen; and Franz Schubert’s String Quartet No. 15 in G Major, Op. D.887.
