Summer Dance Caravan: Connecticut Ballet
The Connecticut Ballet, a perennial UPAC audience favorite, returns to Yonkers and our beautiful park with an amazing program of four separate ballets, performed by an amazing cast of international soloists. Featured will be a world premiere by Eve Chan, accompanied by classical ballet and works by George Balanchine and Darrell Grand-Moultrie.
Our events are admission free and open to the public. Performances are on the Great Lawn Stage; please bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets, as seating is not provided.
In case of rain, call the Untermyer Performing Arts Council’s ArtsLine, 914-375-3435, or check our website (www.untermyer.com) after 2 p.m. the day of the performance for confirmation of the program’s location. This year our rain site will be the Saunders High School, 183 Palmer Road, Yonkers.
This program, done in cooperation with Mayor Mike Spano and the Yonkers Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation, is made possible by ArtsWestchester with support from Westchester County Government and the City of Yonkers. The Empire City Casino, Senator Shelley Mayer and our many generous supporters provide additional support for our programs.
