Come to a docent-led tour of our special exhibition, “The Neo-Victorians: Contemporary Artists Revive Gilded-Age Glamour,” which examines the contemporary revival of interest in ornamental lushness and dazzling surface technique that once defined the style of the Victorian era, with works of art from more than 20 contemporary artists that conceal pointed social commentary beneath seductive surface techniques.
