Community Art Project: “Embroid-Me”
Join us Saturday, February 24 from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Westchester Community College Center for the Arts for a FREE participatory community art project.
As part of the reception for her solo exhibition, Interstice – Inter-stitch: The Space Between, mixed-media artist Rukhshan Haque is inviting the public to take part in the creation of a collaborative embroidery work titled: “Embroid-Me”
No hand embroidery experience necessary. This event is FREE. Light refreshments will be served.
The work will go on display in the gallery at the Center for the Arts for the remainder of the exhibition.
