“East Meets West”
On Saturday December 16th, 5PM-8PM the India Cultural Society of Rockland County will be hosting “East Meets West” at Rockland Community College Auditorium. Please bring your family and friends to this fabulously inclusive dance showcase, featuring eight Indian classical and folk dance forms, along with special appearances by Westchester and NYC-based artists Mariachi Sol Mixteco, Grupo Atl Tlachinolli, Tecuanes De San Gabriel, Bolivian dancer Paulette Zenteno, and Ghanaian Ashanti dancers Gloria Nyame and Richard Dwomoh. A feast of Indian food is included in the $25 ticket price.
