Origami and Paper Folding Class for Kids

Students will learn the traditions of paper folding. This includes origami, the Japanese art of paper folding, and both narrative and non-narrative book structures. Students will work individually as well as collaboratively while developing spatial sense (by visualizing, constructing, transforming, and classifying geometric forms) and a narrative sense (by making books and working with others). This class will enable students to leave with numerous paper-made projects as well as a vocabulary to understand future models and book structures.
