A mid-20th century cabal of artists known for coolness— Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, and James Rosenquist —defined Pop Art. But what about the famous Pop Artist Red Grooms whose work gives off warmth? Bartholomew Bland, Director of Lehman College Art Gallery, takes you on a tour of Grooms’ bright and inviting 3-D, multi-media sculptures from Ruckus Manhattan (1975) to Lincoln on the Hudson (2016).
