Watercolor Workshop

Paint from photographs to show their own “sense of place.”One of the hallmarks of Andrew Wyeth’s work is empathy for the subjects he depicted, as seen in his paintings of Chadds Ford and the Brandywine Valley. His paintings convey his deep roots and love for this place. In this workshop there will be a demonstration by Ellen Hopkins Fountain, in watercolor, of her own personal place.  Then participants work on their own paintings from photographs they provide with guidance from the artist.

Two 2-hour sessions; some painting experience required
