The Pros(e) of Pie

Westchester’s storytelling group returns to The Hudson Valley Writers’ Center. The theme for the evening is “Finding My Voice”. Come enjoy the spoken word, and eat some delicious pie!

This month, we’re sharing stories about discovering a part of ourselves. Do you remember that first time you stood up for yourself? Have you written the great American novel? Was there a teacher that helped you finally express your feelings? Maybe you broke with your upbringing and took a stand your family was not happy about. Or did you take a leap sharing who you really are? We want to hear about your breakthroughs, your life lessons, and your heart aches.

You can just sit back and enjoy the show or join the fun by signing up for a 5 mins open mic slot or entering a pie in our bake-off. Free admission if you let us know in advance that you’re bringing a pie!
