Workshop for Kids in Grades K-5: The Wright Stuff
How do you invent something? The Wright Brothers are perfect examples of true inventors and their work offers important concepts about what makes things fly! The fun begins when participants use odd and interesting materials to create a flying object and experiment with the Westchester Children’s Museum’s fantastic wind tunnel. The Museum’s instructors make this a playful and inventive way of exploring airflow, drag, symmetry, turbulence, air resistance, and gravity. Free. Seating is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Made possible by the Friends of the New Rochelle Public Library.
