Pictures at an Exhibition – A native of Scotland, organist Ruaraidh Sutherland read music at the University of Edinburgh, winning the prestigious Tovey Memorial Prize.  He is currently Organist and Choirmaster at Christ Church in Rye, New York.  He returns to Downtown Music to play Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, as transcribed by Jean Guillou, on the magnificent Guilbault-Therien organ at Grace Church.
