Afternoon Movie: La Stanza del Figlio

The Son’s Room tells the tale of a happy, middle class family whose lives are turned upside down when their teenage son dies in a tragic accident. The movie won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2001, as well as numerous awards at the David di Donatello Awards 2001, such as Best Film, Best Actress (Laura Morante), and Best Music.
