EXHIBIT: Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Observances from Mexico

The tenth annual Day of the Dead observance presented by Calaveras y Diablitos artists features  ancient traditions such as an ofrenda (altar), huge papier-mâché figures, tissue paper cut-outs, marigolds, and other symbols celebrating late loved ones. There’s always an incredible contemporary spin on this amazing exhibit, which will be on view in the New Rochelle Public Library’s Lumen Winter Gallery during regular library hours.
