The Medici Dynasty: The Role of the Renaissance Woman

Renaissance women were expected to know the classics and be charming. They were expected to inspire art but not create it. They were better educated than medieval women, but had little influence in politics. This presentation will analyze the life of the women covering their education, dress, hair and cosmetics, marriage customs and responsibilities. Must register in advance and prepay.
