The History of Photography Part 2 – Of Gelatin, Brahms, and Potatoes!

|

Photographer, Elinor Stecker-Orel will discuss how the twentieth century was a remarkable time for photographic inventions and discoveries. It’s the century in which flexible roll-film replaced cumbersome glass plates; the century in which color photographs gradually took their place alongside black-and-white ones; the century that spawned camera’s that developed film instantly and a camera that was the size of a small room.  And it’s the century that brought the ease of photography into the hands of everyone.

Come and learn how gelatin, Brahms and potatoes fit into this story as well.
