Guitar in the Garden: Meng Su

Fans of our Guitar in the Garden series may recall the artistry of Meng Su, one exquisite half of the Beijing Guitar Duo, the classical guitar powerhouse who wowed audiences in 2011 and again in 2014, joined by Grammy-nominated Manuel Barrueco. Su is a prolific performer, having collaborated with Caramoor regulars The Knights, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra, and others; taking home gold at the 2015 Parkening International Guitar Competition; and enjoying extensive performance opportunities throughout Europe and Asia. In this hour-long program, Meng Su presents canonical and contemporary works by Bach, Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Williams, and Assad.
