National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America
Be the first to applaud the 2016 National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America!
100+ extraordinarily talented young musicians will meet for the first time during a two-week residency on the Purchase College campus this summer, preparing to embark on a tour to some of the great music capitals of the world.
As has become tradition, their tour launches with a premiere performance right here in our Concert Hall.
The orchestra will be led by Christoph Eschenbach; they will be joined by guest pianist Emanuel Ax.
The Program:
MOZART Piano Concerto No. 22 in E-flat Major, K.482
BRUCKNER Symphony No. 6
NYO-USA is a program of Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute.
