International Music & Dance Performance: La Troupe Zetwal

Zetwal brings exuberant joy to the stage as they share the traditional dances of Haiti, with live drumming, Zouk (a French Caribbean social dance) and Soukous (an Angola-based rhythm.) The troupe performs a new uniquely Haitian dance expression, blending the old traditions, songs and dances of the Island of Hispaniola (origins in Congo and Dahomey) with elements of Arawak (indigenous Haitian Indian) and French culture.
