The Sanctuary Series Presents Eugenia Zukerman and Anthony Newman In “Like Clockwork”
America’s leading Bach specialist, Anthony Newman, and acclaimed flautist and Emmy-nominated journalist, Eugenia Zukerman, return to the Series for a special Mother’s Day performance.
Renowned as soloists, they have performed and recorded together for more than twenty-five years. They will present a wide-ranging and playful program of works for Flute, Piano and Organ by Bach, Schubert and Hadyn, including Bach’s Music for the Coethen Castle Standing Clock and Mr. Newman’s Fantasia Te Deum intended to showcase the Sanctuary’s beautiful Russell & Co. Pipe Organ. The concert will be followed by a special Mother’s Day champagne reception.
