Daniel Joseph Martinez is an artist and Professor at UCal, Irvine. His critical, provocative projects probe issues of race and sociopolitical frictions in American society. The artist will discuss his practice and the power of culture in an era of permanent war with Purchase College School of Art+Design Director and “After 1965” curator Steven Lam.
