Noonday Getaway Concert – Peter Reit, French Horn and Alyssa Reit, Harp

Downtown Music welcomes Peter Reit, French horn, and Alyssa Reit, harp for a performance of the works of Bach and Villa Lobos, Armenian folk music and more.

Mr. Reit’s accomplishments include playing Principal Horn with the Westchester Philharmonic, Greenwich Symphony and Scandia Symphony Orchestras, and Associate Principal Horn with the Stamford Symphony and he is in his twenty-second year with the Broadway hit ‘Phantom of the Opera’.  Ms. Reit is a composer and arranger as well a performer.  She is founder, artistic director, and resident composer for Singing Harp, an arts troupe directed by New York stage director Terrence Montgomery, which presents fairy tales, myths, and classic stories in dramatic and musical forms.
