A curiosity of live music and movie mystery featuring an original silent film starring Bill Irwin, accompanied by live musicians and an in-the-flesh special effects Foley artist. Steeped in dark and moody turn-of-the-19th-century atmosphere, “The Unsilent Picture” unbends reality in the true spirit of Sleepy Hollow. Inspired by Washington Irving’s spooky tale “The Adventure of the Mysterious Picture,” the film was shot on location in the historic buildings of nearby Van Cortland Manor.
