“The Art of Politics” a talk by Historian Louise Bernikow

Join ArtsWestchester and renowned author and activist Louise Bernikow for a discussion and historical perspective on the suffrage movement in New York State. This will be an evening for unpacking the role of art and images in the shaping of political movements followed by a Curator’s tour of the exhibition, Give Us the Vote.

Louise Bernikow is the author of six books, including Among Women and The Shoulders We Stand On: The American Women’s Almanac. She has written articles for such publications as the New York Times, Playboy, Ms., Cosmopolitan, and Esquire.
