Hispanic Heritage Month: Bilingual Poetry Reading with Xanath Caraza


Xánath Caraza is a traveler, educator, poet and short story writer. She will read selections in English and Spanish from her new book of poems, Hudson, published this year. This book of poems dedicated to the Hudson River and New York City personifies the river as “El río que es también poesía.” or “the river that also is poetry.”  (Javier Díaz Gil Publicado 2018-07-14)

Her book of poetry, Sílabas de viento / Syllables of Wind, received the 2015 International Book Award for Poetry. It also received Honorable Mention for Best Book of Poetry in Spanish in the 2015 International Latino Book Awards.
