American Journey featuring pianist Ulrich Roman Murtfeld
Called “a pianist to reckon with” (International Record Review), German pianist Ulrich Roman Murtfeld can be regularly heard performing in concert halls and on the radio throughout Europe. He is presented in collaboration with The German Forum for whom he will be performing earlier in the week at Lincoln Center’s Bruno Walter Auditorium. Mr. Murtfeld’s program journeys from Beethoven and Schubert to the American composers Edward MacDowell, Frederic Rzewski and Louis Moreau Gottschalk, among those featured on his CD “American Recital, Vol. 1,” and the newly released Vol. 2.
