Finding Your Digital Writing Voice with Chris L. Vaughan (Zoom)
In today’s evolving digital landscape, writers are publishing work and growing their audience independently. In this one-hour workshop, you’ll explore the ways we can hone our authentic online writing voices and learn how to share unique stories that find communities meaningful to you. We’ll discuss establishing your digital writing identity, creating a weekly publishing routine and the joys of joining a supportive literary family with Chris L Vaughan, a New York Times-published writer, covering disability and parenting on Substack.
Bio: Chris L Vaughan is a writer from Tarrytown who explores navigating parenthood as a disabled person with cerebral palsy. His experiences as a disabled dad and embracing C.P. have been published in The New York Times, USA Today and Writer’s Digest. Chris has a Substack called Unclenching where he writes about these topics every week. He is also a journalist and public speaker who has reported and shared his story throughout the Hudson Valley.
If you are a college or university student, we’d love to make the series even more accessible for you. Please email [email protected] from your school email and let me know which sessions you’d like to attend at a discounted rate.
